OK, the zip version worked fine. However, in compiling the installer, I ran into a problem which I haven't experienced in the SVN version: File: failed opening file "....\inkscape\locale\az\LC_MESSAGES\inkscape.mo"
I checked up on this, it appears that az.po isn't being compiled by whatever handles it. I guess that this means that it's broken from a quick look at po/makefile.in.in. And yet Alexandre reports az.po's clean, and I was able to open it in Virtaal and Poedit.
What should I do? I can add a /nonfatal to the installer as a temporary fix so it'll just ignore it, but that's obviously not the best fix.

Whoever is ready first maybe? :)
The sooner Win32/Mac builds are ready, the sooner we can announce pre2.
I will also be updating my Inkscape Portable package for a probably final test before 0.47 is released (and Inkscape Portable is planned to will be released almost simultaneously).
It would be great to have an official portable version!

I don't need a quote in my signature. It's hard enough surviving as it is without having to find a meaningful quote. Will you forgive me? Or don't you read this bit?
