I've noticed that while there were 1125 strings in the file I commited (I'm the translator of 'nn.po', which was based on Inkscape 0.39), there are only a little over 1000 translatable strings in the latest CVS code.
We actually never had 1125 (or more) strings at any single point of time. The total number of strings used to be growing steadily, and reached 1000 at 0.39.
Hmm, you're right. I've no idea why my translation contains 1125 strings.
