But it's strange to have submenus with only 1 entry like "Rect" > "Rect Properties". "Shape" > "Fill Settings" gives you a dialog that is not transient! It would be better to have access to "Fill and Stroke" here (transient!).
Of course, it's simply that we haven't yet worked on that. The context menu needs a complete overhaul, and those small leftover dialogs will be eliminated and replaced with standard ones.
It would be great to have a special context menu for nodes (right-click over a node), containing "Delete", "Break apart" and a way to change the number of bezier handles (0,1,2). And maybe an option for aligning control points on a line / make them symetrical.
Good idea, I'll see if what can be done.
