Hi Kanika.

Could you try without "last applied" shape? Seems previous path is bend
path without nothing in the clipboard, or clipboard is erased by clean
document... this seems a bug but we need more info to fix it as brynn
suggest. 

If you provide a step by step from a clean doc I could try to fix.
