[Inkscape-devel] Tooltip on snapindicator is now zoom dependent?

In rev. #20773 the distance of the snap-tooltip to the snap-indicating-cross has been made zoom-dependent by "speleo3". Now when I zoom in, snapping might occur at one end of the screen whereas the tooltip might show up at the other end of the screen. I think it should appear at a fixed distance from the snap-indicator, i.e. measured in hard screen pixels. Could you please explain why you think this is better?
