Are you sure you got installed with openmp support? http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Win32Port

Instead of mucking digging for checkboxes in the mingw installer I just opt to choose the "option "TDM-GCC recommended, All Packages" in the TDM-GCC 4.5.1 installer".

That should fix it for you.

latest devlibs dont seem to want to build it on win, giving an error
due to not finding -lgomp
fresh checkout, fresh devlibs and fresh mingw

Any ideas?
