Well... sRGB doesn't work for any of the monitors in my house. Someone *really* needss to get a hardware device and measure the screen (they're not expensive at all nowadays).
LCD monitors are especially bad as far as range goes. Although a nice HDTV might do better. If you want details, you can see the slides from my presentation to linux.conf.au last year for some side-by-side comparisons of profiles.
