I'm not advocating the bitmap option because I like it as a solution, but because I think it's the most useable right now.
Can someone perhaps explain exactly what the discussed features are? As I understand from the patch it's about spiral gradients? How *exactly* is a spiral gradient defined?
I'm just asking because it seems like it's considered obvious that there is no other way to simulate a spiral gradient than to generate a bitmap. And I'd at least like the opportunity to see for myself.
(And I did look at the actual patch, but I couldn't find any clear formula or something that defined what a spiral gradient is.)
