[Inkscape-devel] Deactivate knotholder?

What is the purpose of this checkbox in LPE parameters? Does it work at all? I tried it with Knot, but checking it does not remove the knot on the intersection.

I propose to remove it because it does not seem to serve a useful function, and because it uses the absolutely technical term "knotholder" which users have no idea about.
