I was hoping I wasn't missing anything obvious and I was worried it might be intentional.
However I'm not seeing any tooltips in the preferences dialog, but maybe it is because I'm using a build from April 27 or because I am running windows? (Tooltips seem to be working fine on items like the main Inkscape toolbar.)
Somewhat confusingly the Scrolling category includes options for the mouse wheel scrolling but it also looks like a difficult one to decide.
Why might this be confusing?
A mouse wheel is a mouse option so one might expect to find it in the mouse category. Six of one half dozen of the other, hard to know where to put it.
