I think in the long run we can do better than just putting the Inkscape logo on a bunch of stuff, but this is a good place to start. I think it may inspire more donated artwork to put on the merchandise. One thing that makes the site look a bit cheap is using the same graphic on everything, but we can certainly fix that. Thanks Martin, for taking the first steps. It's definitely cool to see some official Inkscape swag. :)

Thanks for the review Brynn,

The vast majority of your points are things I agree with, but we can't
control the vast, vast majority of it. We can look at tweaking it
though.

There is no way to do this. One of the reasons we ordered some stuff
was to test the output. But even then there's no way to change the
graphics as presented, we only get to pick the design.

This is a good question for spreadshirt, but it's probably a different
process for each item.

I've looked really hard how to fix this, I can't find any help or
option to change it. Can anyone else?

Yes, quite a few. Mostly kids. But enough to make them popular.

Each design allows us to set the colours, but not different colours for
user options. It would just duplicate it in the shop menu.

There should be.

Freedom, not gratis.

There not many levers to manage, we're still learning what limited ways
we can control the store.
