Actually it's 3 people on-site plus however many people want to participate from the internet at large. So part of point is to show how much can be done by a world-wide collaboration in short time. The power of open source and the internet and all that.
Unfortunately, I think it is true what Ted says that without extra financing (personal or otherwise) it's only for people from Europe.
There must be a few contributors in Europe who could go, no? Even if they'd just be figureheads managing contributions from folks elsewhere?
