Features committed to trunk will be fine. Also, anything not mentioned at last year's LGM will be fine also.
I'll compile the latest GIMP in the months leading up to the event to keep up with the neat things in trunk.
I think it's worth getting people excited about the 2.0 release, and I'm sure LGM folks would love to see upcoming features in action.
