bb> Simple: to me and other Emacs users, Ctrl+F means actually Ctrl+Shift+f. bb> So writing Ctrl+f with lowercase is less likely to confuse, IMHO.
in gimp shortcuts are shown as Ctrl-F and Shift-Ctrl-F (for what now in inkscape is Ctrl-f and Ctrl-F, respectively) - i think that's also a gnome standard. in KDE the standard is for example Ctrl-Shift-F. i must also admit that when i saw inkscape shortcuts in menus for the first time i was confused, that's why imho ot would be better to switch to gnome standard shortcut names. oops.small update. i've just checked current inkscape tarball and shortcuts names are like Ctrl-Shift-k. i don't understand why "k" is not a capital letter - i think it should be. best regards yemu
