I agree with everything Bryce said. Most of that was merely time constraints. There's a lot I would change tbh, mostly tweaking and timing of things. It was a challenge to get everything in there, and a lot of the issue had to do with syncing the action with the music properly.

It was a great learning experience, and the things suggested will certainly be fixed on the next version.

Wow, that's amazing.  I agree with everyone else, this'd be an excellent
thing to showcase and help promote the release.

The way it showcased the features in real time was pretty stunning.  The
one that stuck with me the most was the on-canvas gradient editing, I
suppose because it involved shiny color.  The font measurement stuff was
amazing too, maybe because I'm a sucker for dimensions.  :-)

The new guide features went by a bit too quickly to grok what the change
was.  The setup part for node tool dropdown was a bit slow, but when it
got to the actual feature it jumped too quickly so it's hard to see what
the actual feature was.

The symbol dialog, find with mouse wheel, and paint order examples felt
spot on.  Live path effects as well, however I know there's been a *ton*
of cool work here and wonder if this section could be expanded.  Drag
and drop layer ordering looked pretty slick but I didn't follow what
exactly was going on.

For the new file format support, I wonder if it would be permissible to
include the logos of the respective products?  Differentiating between
the import and exports might be worthwhile.  Some of those, like visio
import, I thought we had for a while?  In any case, showing off new file
import and export features is a great idea.

I like how this video focuses on the product itself, and I think it is
way stronger having that focus.  But I do wonder if having a similar
video but more focused on the people involved might be fun -- something
geared more towards people who might dabble with more involvement in our
community.  Something that'd mention the hackfest, LGM attendance, more
depth into the new website features, and details of how we've put
donor's funds to use in the Books For Developers effort, and so on.

It was very striking that the video didn't end with a credits roll, but
instead used that time to give focus to the project logo and slogan.  It
made the whole seem simultaneously professional and accessible.  It'd be
fine with me either way, but do I like the tidy way you closed it.
