This is a good question for spreadshirt, but it's probably a different process for each item.
- I think it's what they call 'flexprint' - ironing on of plotter-cut
plastic-like material, limited to up to 3 colors per design. They seem to accept raster graphics for digital prints (which then support a lot more colors).
Ah, I wondered what it was called. My wife worries it won't stand up well to very many washer/dryer cycles.
