I'm using Inkscape on Arch Linux, and am cross posting this from the Arch Linux general mailing list. Since yesterday (I have not used Inkscape for two weeks, so this might be related to something that happened in the last two weeks) I have not been able to open exisiting svg files on Inkscape. Opening any and all svg files causes Inkscape to crash with "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now". I created a test file containing only a single straight line using the Bezier tool and can not open this file again after saving. The command line output after the crash is

    terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Glib::ConvertError'

I saw this error yesterday, on package 0.91-8 in Arch, but the same package version worked on the 17th of May, so some other package that was updated during this time period is probably the cause. The latest package version in Arch, 0.91-9, does not solve this problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the cause?
