That's what I thought. Hence my surprise at the error while compiling. 
 
Getting D-Bus working on windows would enable more sophisticated
extensions to be available on all platforms.
I'd really like to get my union and intersection extensions working...
I know some extensive work was done on exposing more of the core API
through D-Bus seems like a couple of years back.
