Is the licence (GPL3+) a problem? I can't change it.
There's existing GPLv3 code in there and as an extension isn't not so bad as long as the code is well labeled with a license header.
I think we effectively have a GPLv3 codebase which a majority GPLv2 and some other compatibles here and there (correct me if I've wrong)
