well.. just a 2 cents (euro) stupid idea/question i export from inkscape to png a gradient i import that png into ooffice i print the document (via cups on redhat )? postcript ? the gradient print well...
If you already have bitmap (PNG) created by Inkscape, it's easy to print it from anywhere. It can even be embedded into Postscript (still remaining a bitmap). The problem is that Postscript that is directly generated by Inkscape does not embed bitmaps for gradients (or transparency) and thus distorts them.
