I see that some projects are already set up on GitLab.

Would an admin please create an "inkscape" project. This will allow us to play around with importing inkscape code and discuss progress using GitLab's wiki feature.

Presumably, the process on GitLab would be very similar as the proof of concept that worked on GitHub.
