There are going to be three "toolbars" in Inkscape:
- Under the menu, horizontal, with buttons for common non-tool-specific
operations such as Open, Save, etc.
Gnome calls this the standard toolbar
- Below 1, horizontal, with too-specific buttons and controls (exists now
and is called "top panel" or "aux toolbar").
Jasc and Adobe call this the "tool options palette" (it is usually bigger, not strictly a toolbar).
- Vertical at the left, with tool buttons.
I'd simply call this the toolbar or toolbox, but there may be a better description.
