[Inkscape-devel] How to make extension that is called on every edit of the document ?

Hi,   I'd like to make an extension that keeps track of changes (and can also make changes from external sources) in a drawing - is there a way to get a call every time an edit happens ? (I guess ideally the callback would include information about what was changed). S++
