Good idea ! But could it be implemented as an option ? In some cases I also find it useful when linked to a node like previously.

I think the LPE works already as good as can be when adding a node, right?
When deleting a node, it does not work to my satisfaction. It is hard to detect or pass-through which nodes have been deleted. I'll see if I can add some options for behavior, so you can see which one you like best...
