Fixed it for me under win2k, using a path with an umlaut in it. What's your usage case?
Hmm, actually the original bugreport was about Linux, and it still fails with the same error:
Extension::Script: Unknown error attempting to open temporary file : Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character /tmp/ink_ext_CyX8M6: No such file or directory
Will test Windows now.
