Hi Everyone,
I do design (mostly for tee shirts), and I love what you have been doing with Inkscape (although I must admit that I am still using Illustrator for most of my work). Anyway, is it appropriate for me to post to this list (not being a developer)? I have plenty of thoughts on the things that are being discussed here and on the wiki, but my programming skills are pretty weak.
On another issue, I've noticed that making an item insensitive does not prevent it from being selected by a rubberband or a shift-click. Is this the intended behavior, or should I submit a bug?
HI Michael, I'm not a developer myself and they allow me to speak in this list :). I think by the moment insensitve objects can be selected because we don't really have a handy object inspector/object tree/item selector view, and the xml editor is hard to use for new users, and not so new because is unintuitive. But I don't know the actual developer reason, just my thoughts. yours: Néstor
