Two things you might consider changing:
- keep the cursor style consistent between the selector and node tool icons
- the drawing tools still have an outlined look, which is always going
to look odd to me
Could you explain this a little more (I have some doubts cause my poor english) ;)
No problem. The arrow cursor in the selector and node tools should be the same - either with a "stem" or without. Also, as Bulia pointed out, the strokes on the drawing tools look odd since they're outlined. I really think a separate set for dark themes is in order which takes care of the need for this, so the strokes can be a solid black or dark grey color.
As I suggested before, I think it would be best to have separate sets. I think there's definitely a use for the completely consistent Tango/Art Libre set, as well as a Tangoified non-consistent set (which could be the same as this modified set, which does the job nicely in many respects), as well as versions of each for a dark background (which should be simple enough to update), as well as (your desired style here).
I think it is a great idea to allow users choose your favourite theme using Inkscape preferences. ;)
Can we agree to work on this concept? I think it would make a lot more people happy.
Ok. I think it is possible to work in some themes at once. I have no much time to work in all of them, of course, but I try to help as possible. ;)
That would be great! I think for now the details of the updated current set and the tango set should be worked out. Then adaptations for darker themes can be made from them.
