Mmm, I see what you mean. Well - I'm afraid I'm out of my depth. Isn't it possible to calculate the minimum zoom size based on the image size (and update it every time the image size changes?)

p.s. is there a maximum image size as well? if I zoom right out and add rectangles at the edge, the canvas doesn't seem to grow to accomodate them.
