Of course I'm not arguing for or against it in general. It all depends on what you want to express. Whenever there's a standard facility we should use it, otherwise we should invent our own.
As for sodipodi:docbase, I agree it may be a good idea to remove it, but we need to check first where and when it's used in the code, if at all.
