OK, I guess you are right, and we'll have to write this off to cultural differences. For me, "intimidation" is a very harsh and specific accusation, which implies an easily demonstrable type of behavior. If instead of "intimidating" you would say "opinionated" or "strong-worded", I would not argue at all. But "intimidating", to me, implies an evil intent on my part, which I find rather insulting. Sorry if this was a misinterpretation.
