I meant people who work for a company as an employee, not work _for_ any inkscape organisation. Wasn't there a guy called Rei last week who said his company will work on SMIL animation support?
In general, a majority are volunteers however... even if they have been paid to work on Inkscape at one time or another. I'm not aware of anyone getting paid to work on the bug tracker, web stuff, etc. though which was the capacity he was talking about.
Wouldn't it be nice if there were. That's the problem; sometimes "we're all volunteers" is given to mean "Isn't is great we're all amateurs who get to work on inkscape as a hobby" instead of what I see which is "We're not organised well enough to pull in sufficient funding or grants to secure release cycles let alone feature development"
Wouldn't you like to work on Inkscape full time Josh, if you could, if you knew there was a steady income to be made? I feel Inkscape _is_ big enough to do that sort of thing.
