And why shouldn't you? It's like us retaining the layer selector as an option after we get the layers dialog, which is how it's planned last I heard. My question is, how "dynamic" can we make the status bar? So that it can expand and contract appropriately with optional items.
And for note, if being vocal about wanting to keep existing functionality as an option will be called "playing ScislaC", it probably won't take too many times before it comes across like "he Munson-ed it" from KingPin. (arg I feel that joke will be lost on everyone)
