We'll have that for detailed editing of filters. The metawidget I proposed to Nick just adds a "blend" dropdown to what's already at the bottom of the fill & stroke dialog.
Blend mode: [ Normal v ]
Blur,%: ---------------||---- [ 80]
Master Opacity,%: -------------------|| [100]
If the special blend mode "Filter", is selected, you get:
Blend mode: [ Filter v ]
[ #filter123 v ] [Edit...]
Master Opacity,%: -------------------|| [100]
The "Edit" button invokes the filter palette/dialog.
