I've put up a blog about my summer project. I'm planning to post there frequently about what I've been working on: http://fedev.blogspot.com/
I read you had to do a compile recompile? Are you working on windows or linux? If on windows: del *.dep before running btool. Then btool makes a new dependency file which is necessary when inclusion of header files has changed (often the case). Now I almost never have to do a full rebuild! If on Linux: I don't know enough about inkscape building on linux, but I think it boils down to the same thing: delete the generated dependency file!
Unlike this Finnish SoC project I'm working in, GSoC doesn't require writing this kind of documentary. Seems like Gail Banaszkiewicz put up a blog already, how about the rest of SoC:ers here?
Sorry but I am not going to blog. I try to be on jabber as much as possible though!
