Josh called for a vote on 15/06, which was intended to be run "for 1 week". It looks to me the deadline is over, but saw no summarizing e-mail. In the meanwhile Win packages have been pushed to SF too.
I did a bit of vote counting, first preferences on that thread were noted as follow: * Option 1: 0 * Option 2: 2 * Option 3: 5
So, to me it looks like we agreed on Option 3: «Make announcements and apologize, while explaining why we have left out a group of our users.»
Yet I see no action item coming out from that thread. I can surely revert my web commit and hide the draft in the middle of nowhere. But then I'd like to ask *WHAT* we are still waiting for, as we released this source 6+ months ago and we agreed to (at least) update the website 2+ months ago...
Sorry if I stepped into someone's shoes, but I'm fearing this has just been forgotten...
