There is not formelly a group, but i'm one of this group.

I think that must works on any OS (using the python standards from other extensions will help) and be accepted by a developer. You may submit it as a patch on the tracker.
But not for the 0.48, because we are in the string freeze.

- And is it planned to include Extensions into Inkscape like we all know it from Firefox (Online -Repo connected to the program itself or Online-Repo providing "one click" installation.
