For an already regular tiling, unclumping just "shakes" the grid and makes it more natural. But create a highly irregular tiling with randomized positions, then press Unclump to see how it removes the "clumps" (hence the name) and makes the grid more even and natural, almost man-made, although still irregular.
Ok, my misunderstanding comes from there : I just tried with a regular tiling, and the "shaking" makes the tiles closer to eachother.

Oups, yes I should have talked to him before... But anyway, I checked on web SVN and updated my copy of the trunk, and matiphas' commit doesn't appear. Is there a delay to get the latest updates ?
The translation is correct, but when I made the checkout yesterday afternoon, it wasn't translated yet.
