this is not really a show stopper but I have discovered an annoying bug which may be really easy to fix: the font drop down list in the text toolbar does not stay on top (on Mac OS X at least, with GTK 2.10)

did it work in 0.44?

it may be easy to fix because the font size drop down list in the same toolbar works like a charm so it might just be a matter of comparing these two pieces of code.

unfortunately they're done quite differently...
