In fact, frankly I think we should block the release until we've got a single PDF exporter with all the functionality rolled in.

The state of PDF export was one of the biggest complaints when we did the 0.44 release, and if it's even worse in 0.45 we'll be letting a lot of people down.

What needs to be done to get this sorted? Who is working on this? Can we break it into bite sized chunks to knock this out? Let's do it if we can concretize the tasks....
