This is a new version of eqtexsvg.py which should help resolve this bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1495693&gro...
It uses the sax parser to read the svg output. If someone can make the script determine whether to use the plot-svg or svg pstoedit plugin this should be able to handle the output from both.
