I'm already subscribed to wordpress; I'd like to translate news feed in italian but, doing that, I will duplicate news...it will be useless for non-italian user.
Isn't possible to implement a language chooser or something similar? I've never used wordpress (and rss-feed in general :( ) so I cannot speak about that, but i was thinking about something similar to www.debian.org : it recognizes the language of your browser and sets the site language accordingly...
so you offer to maintain yourself an translated version of the website or at least of the front page?
Also having different submask (fr.inkscape.org,it.i.o...) to redirect to, would do the job :)
probably this was not implemented yet mainly because of the lack of volunteers offering to maintain those localized pages
