Assuming that we shoot for the usual 2-3 month development cycle for 0.44, what things are people hoping to focus on working on?
I'd say the usual is _at least_ 3 months, typically more. This release was so short that some people didn't even realize that there was a non-freeze period after 0.42 :)
Yes, although keep in mind that 3 months puts us into Christmas. My experience has been that despite vacation time and so forth, December is a tough month to get much done on an open source project.
I suspect that if we cannot get 0.44 out the door by Dec 1st (the 10th as the absolute latest), that we might need to delay its release until mid/late January.
I think if we keep our goals for 0.44 reasonable, we could have little trouble squeezing out one more release this year, just in time for Christmas.
