This is on Fedora 12, and with a fresh copy of Inkscape from SVN Trunk

1) Inkscape has moved to bzr on launchpad: http://inkscape.org/bzr.php?lang=en

2) known issue with poppler 1.12.2 on linux Bug #487038 “0.47 build error with poppler 0.12.2 on Linux”: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/487038

for now, use the patch attached to that bug report.
