Very cool, Bryce. I don't know that I mentioned it here (or on the user list), but I used Inkscape combined with xsane to design DVD labels for a photo slideshow from my dad's life when he passed away last year. Scanned in the label stock, and then used that as a template to build the layout for placing the labels properly to print.
Very simple task, but very, very effective. :-)
