Thanks a lot for the improvement! Two suggestions:

- please add a note about that to http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/ReleaseNotes046

- while you're at it, can you do something about the font size selector on the same toolbar? It changes the text as soon as I type any digit, which is very annoying. Should only work upon Enter or focus-out event.
