Hi Bulia!
- I can't print gradients. If I draw e.g. a rectangle which is blue in
the middle, changing its colour to red in the outer regions it will be printed white. I can however export it and then print it using gimp.
My guess is that you print via Postscript, and Postscript does not support gradients. When other vector apps export things like transparency or gradients to PS, they "simulate" them, usually by bitmaps. Inkscape does not yet do that. But it's just a guess, your bug may be different. Please do file a bug report.
You guess right. Thanks for the explanation. I'll file a RFE rather than a bug report.
I summarized what was said about this in RFE #899574.
- fullscreen doesn't work for me. If I click View/Fullscreen nothing
happens.
What is the window manager?
I tried KDE and wmaker.
Using View/Fullscreen works under gnome. This bug doesn't seem to be related to inkscape only, since galeon suffers the same. I tested it after I saw http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=231497 As inkscape galeon uses F11 to switch to Fullscreen mode which I think is a poor choise, since on powerpc with only one mouse-button F11/F12 are used to emulate the middle/right mouse buttons.
Thanks,
Wolfi
