Hello JiHo,
I tried to roll back to version 0.44 and to version 0.45 on Mac OS X. I also installed the X11 packaged on under the name X11User_Tiger_intel.dmg at http://inkscape.modevia.com/macosx-snap/?M=D
And deleted the mentioned directory each time I rolled back to a previous version and after I installed the X11(prior to rolling back).
I still have disconnected Arabic letters - even when I past them from the outside. The thing is that I had a good Arabic support, with connected letters either on 0.44 or on 0.45 (or on both). What could have happened? Any clues?
Thanks!
Boutros

Sourceforge has an archive of past versions: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php? group_id=93438&package_id=99112
