I'm not aware of any performance problems. I routinely work with multi-megabyte SVGs with embedded bitmaps and they work acceptably. Anyone has a use case?
Is there a tarball version that has any self contained/zipped bitmap collection code ? I'll be happy to test on Dapper. We use full page background pngs all the time without problems. But look forward to keeping the svg and png files married.
