I'll put forward that we meet at either 13:00 or 20:00 GMT on the Tuesday 6/20 on either IRC Freenode #inkscape-devel channel or https://meet.jit.si/inkscape

I'm open to alternative times. If we need to we could have an asynchronous meeting on the forum as well.

If people are interested in getting organized now, that's really the
only piece that's been missing.  And I've noticed some interest in
outreach efforts bubbling stronger lately, so maybe the time's ripe?  I
was thinking a get together type meeting would be a fun way to kick
things off, and just get to know everyone; if that sounds like it'd be
useful why don't you guys suggest a place and time?

I don't have fixed ideas for what the group would do, but it's been very
evident that we have some deep needs in this department, and Inkscape
needs an official team chartered to address them.

> It will be AWESOME to get this group going!

You guys should also decide what you want to call yourselves.  We've
kicked around "marketing", "advocacy", "outreach", and more, but I
figure it would be a good decision for the team to make for itself.

Robert mentioned he's also working on assembling a list of outlets.

There may be interest to tap in adding more; on the facebook group today
someone asked about an official youtube channel.  I'm sure there's no
shortage of great ideas, as Brynn said the trick will be recruiting and
building a solid team and nailing down some solid plans.
