jeje, you Debian users... I use GTK version of Ubuntu 6.10 (according to Synaptic it's v2.10.0). Linux distros are forking way to fast!

I'm running Debian sid. I think, the  libgtk2.0-0 and  libgtk2.0-dev
packages are waht you want to know.

So, it seems that I have only gtk 2.8.20. AFAIK There is no gtk 2.10
(and no gnome 2.16 :-() in Debian yet.
